What to expect...

 

Art 1 & 2:

Students will learn basic skills in drawing and painting, color mixing of primary and secondary colors, creating values and shading, and fundamental elements of design and composition. These classes will establish a good beginning foundation for those students who want to learn to better draw and paint. 

 

Registration, tuition and payment​:

To register, please choose a course and fill out the registration form above. Classes are $45/month and payment can be made in full or on a monthly basis. Payments can be made online, in the IFM office or by calling (706) 653-0097.

 

Class policies​:

Because this class meets only once a week, it is important for the student to be at each class  to stay up to date with projects and improvement. In order to maintain a balance between creativity and order, we ask that you/your children arrive to the class at least 5 minutes early. Please wear clothes that can get paint on them. Communication between the parents, teacher and student is important for successful study. Please feel free to contact the teacher if questions arise at any time.

 

End of semester Studio Art Show:

Every student who registers for a full semester (fall/spring) with the IFM Arts Academy will be encouraged to showcase their specific area of art in the end-of-semester Studio Art Show. (For the Fall semester, this event will be held the first Saturday in December.)
